Pineapple Park

Nago Pineapple Park 1
On the way up to Okuma, we stopped at the Nago Pineapple Park.

Once in the park, we rode a pineapple remote controlled cart around for a tour of the grounds.  As we toured the pineapple fields, we learned all about the different pineapple. After the tour, we  went through a sea shell museum and then got to sample all kinds of yummy pineapple products. Drinks, candy, cookies, cakes, and creme puffs.   Really they had anything you can imagine made of pineapple. They had hair and skin care products, and even pineapple vinegar. This place was very touristy, but lots of fun. It was the perfect pit stop!

We’re still trying to figure out how they made those carts drive themselves! Seriously amazing!

There must be something subliminal in that song, I’m craving some pineapple! 🙂 Touristy can be fun, right?!

Yummy! What a fun place! Remind me to tell you how we’ve been grilling pineapple like Tucanos lately – soooo good!
