Hoppy Easter Fun!

We all had a wonderful Easter!  Easter fell at the end of our spring break this year.  It was such a fun week!  Kennedy had a little egg hunt and Easter party at her school before spring break started.  Nathan and I were able to attend to help out.

With General Conference falling on Easter Sunday it was the perfect Easter.  I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, than to spend the weekend with  my family listening to the words of our  church leaders and prophet.

We started the morning with a special easter breakfast including the ever popular bunny biscuit!   Then we discovered the treasure that the Easter Bunny left for the kids.  Kennedy loved the egg hunts this year, and Nathan loved to hide the eggs that sister dropped in his basket for him.  Children make the holidays so much fun!!

When I was in Idaho I spotted a neat egg coloring kit with  my mom.  I was thrilled when I returned home and found it 1/2 off at JoAnns.  The kit had baggies that you dropped the eggs in.  Then, you squirted the dye, which was thick like paint, into the bag.  The kids enjoyed squishing the eggs around in the baggies.   They giggles as they watched the eggs transform into masterpieces. The eggs turned out so pretty and the clean up was AWESOME!!  There weren’t a million little cups full of dye to wash!
