Christmas cheer, birthday party, and all the GOOD stuff!!!!

With the Holiday Season upon us, I found that spending my usual time documenting our happenings on the blog has been shortened due to shopping, baking, wrapping, and mailing.  The list of things goes on and on, as we whirl through each week!  Not everyone gets caught up in the hustle bustle of this time of year, but for a lot of us the stress can be just a little overwhelming. I personally have felt like I am playing catch up with Brian coming home, and Christmas upon us!! So, when I get a minute here and there I hope to post a few things we’ve been up to so you can get a glimpse of what’s going on here in Florida.  Inevitable though, the phone rings, the oven timer dings, and I realize I forgot to mail that last package.   I know there are a million other things I should be doing, so up I go…no time for the blog!

Now that you’ve heard my excuses, here are a few pictures of how we have been enjoying the Christmas season.

Friday, Kennedy was out of school, so the kids and I spent the day baking and decorating a birthday cake for Nathan.  We finally celebrated on Saturday with a little party!  It’s official, Nathan is one year old!!  It was really cute to watch the anticipation and joy of him experiencing all the new things.  Cake, ice cream, and being able to tear into a present for once!!  Unfortunately, little Nathan caught a cold and wasn’t feeling quite himself.  I guess that’s the way it goes sometimes!  We feel so blessed to have our Nathan in our family.  He is such a sweet and happy boy!  Thanks everyone for the fun gifts! Here’s a ton of pictures for you all!

So, so cute!! You have been busy! The tree is adorable and I think you were so smart not to try and fight the little ones away from it! Loved the letters to Santa – great job Kennedy! You are a good big sister! The birthday cake turned out perfectly! How did you get those smoke puffs to stay up? Loved it! What a sweet one-year-old boy!! Happy Birthday sweet Nate-Nate!! You guys gotta stop beating that kid up though – those are some serious bruises he’s sporting! 🙂 What a guy!! Love you all!!

Bravo. You are winning the wife, mother, and cutie girl award. Wow, that cake is incredible. You need to go into the cake decorating business. Your stuff is so original. Now about the kid, ADORABLE. All I can say is that they are so cute. Where was the new pictures of Brian? How are all of you adjusting? I bet it is fun having him around.
Take care. Are you ever coming to Idaho??? Love ya, Mama INglet

Glad to see you back in the blogging world (although who am I to talk?!) Looks like tons of fun around there. And that cake is too cute! Way to go! You need to send me detailed instructions and pictures and I’ll copy it for Jordan’s birthday. 🙂 I love the popcorn puffs. Miss you all. Give those kids smoochies from us.

Whew! There has been some serious playing at your house! That cake looks like one you’d see in a magazine! Just amazing! Yup, Nathan looks like one busy boy, but definitely a bundle of joy. Kennedy is growing up too! Her letter to Santa is SO impressive! Not even in kindergarten, right?! Wow! Two gorgeous and bright kiddos! We love you guys, and wish we could be enjoying the warm weather with you (although it’s not nearly as cold here as in Idaho or New York… 🙂 )

  • It happens to all of us!!! I have like 8 post in draft mode! Hope you guys had a great holiday!
