Homeless…

The kids and I have been vagabonds for the last 3 weeks. Our house had mold growing out of the vents and it had gotten so bad that it was making the kids sick, but especially little Nathan. He was very sick- respiratory issues, sinus infections, and super high fevers that would NEVER break.  Kennedy complained of a stomach ache and a sore throat constantly for weeks.
Life has been an adventure for us lately. We even thought that we were going to have to move at one point. When Kennedy found out we had to leave the house, she started to cry because she thought we were going to end up sleeping under “the sign”. There is a corner in town were lots of panhandlers sit under a sign. We have named this “the sign”. Luckily things didn’t get THAT bad!!!

After enduring this HUGE headache and major ordeal, we are home tonight sleeping in our own beds. MOLD and soot FREE I might add! Lots of cleaning.

We were happy that Grandma and Grandpa Call could visit and help us get through some of the stress. We had fun partying at a hotel for a week. We also lived with my Aunt Chie for 2 weeks. She is such a sweetheart and I will miss our slumber party chats! Lots of laughs and fun memories. Mold and caterpillars, but that’s a story for another day.

However, I am grateful to be back home and have some normalcy to our lives again! I am hoping to get some pictures put up shortly of our adventures. I suppose I will choose to call it that, or a fiasco (that’s what Kennedy prefers)! To be continued…..

Wow, that had to be soooo stressful! I just had an allergy test and found out I'm pretty allergic to mold. I sound like a chain smoker coughing all the time. But we don't have it that bad. Glad your home and mold free.

Wow, talk about having stress while Brian is away. That isn't even fair. Where did Colleen and CHarlie stay while this was going on? I hope all is fixed up now.
Well, you could come to Idaho and see all of us. HOpe all is well and that Brian is ok. Can we have updates on him too? Love ya and we are all praying for you. Mama Inglet

That totally stinks that you had to go through this. Thankfully you had family close by to help you out. I agree with Kennedy, it is a fiasco! Hope you're all settled and back to normal life now. Can't wait to see more pictures of you and the kiddos!
