We’re Home!

It is crazy how much our life has changed in just a few short days. Friday I had a doctors appointment and my suspicions and concerns were confirmed that my fluids were low. I was sent to have a non-stress test done, which was fine. They then sent me for an ultrasound that measures the actual fluid around the baby. Basically the uterus and amniotic sac is divided in 4 quadrants. In 2 of the 4 quadrants the doctor couldn’t find any fluid! None at all! Scary. The other 2 quadrants totaled a level 4. That’s extremely low. Less than 10 is considered high risk. After that news they sent me straight up to Labor and Delivery. I was in shock, but with my prior experience and knowledge as a nurse, I knew the whole time we were headed down that road. We all knew that this was really a blessing and that Heavenly Father was watching out for the health of our little Nathan. Brian went home to get our bags and make sure that Kennedy was all taken care of. It is trickier with the 2nd kid! You have to make sure that they are all taken care of too! My sweet Aunt Chie watched her for the whole time we were in the hospital. I headed straight to Labor and Delivery quite nervous. They started the induction a little after one. Labor was an adventure (as it usually is)- and Nathan Charles Call arrived at 9:36 pm October 10th. I am so thankful for my husband and the power of a priesthood blessing.
Kennedy’s princess party was scheduled for the 11th. Obviously that didn’t happen. I just kept telling myself, How did this happen??? I thought I would have like a week and a half between their birthdays atleast!!! October will be a crazy month for our family!!! We are so thrilled to have our sweet little boy now! We were able to come home last night. We are all doing well, but VERY grateful that Grandma Hatt is coming tonight as reinforcements. Kennedy is very sweet and helpful with the baby, but she has SO much energy that Mommy doesn’t have right now!! Thank you to Grandpapa for letting her come and stay with us.

Ok, he is a keeper. I am so glad that you went to the doctor that day. You are right, the priesthood is such a special gift.

I told Ella that she had a cute boyfriend in Florida. All girls like a boy in another state.

I hope you are doing ok, and tell our Brian that we love him and CONGRATULATIONS. I know that you will have so much fun raising these darling children.

Your mom is so sweet. She wrote to me, and now I know why you are so WONDERFUL. You look terrific.
We will pray for all of you. Love, Mama Inglet in Idaho

He is so adorable! All your pictures are so beautiful. I was just on a 10 day trip and the whole trip I kept thinking about you guys and wanting to check the blog! It was a little distracting! I am glad everything went fine after your appointment, the priesthood really is such a blessing. One of our stops was the Susquehanna (can’t spell…) River where the priesthood was restored. AMAZING. We are so lucky! I can’t imagine having a family without it. Good luck to you guys!
