Reunited in Alabama

Life has been very busy around here! We were lucky enough to be able to spend the last week with Brian in Alabama. It was so much fun. The best part of the trip was when we were able to bring him home with us at the end of the week. Maxwell Air Force Base is incredible. It is so gorgeous and green. We loved it. The base is covered in parks and lakes. We played lots and even took a picnic to the lake. One afternoon after Brian finished his big trial, we headed into Old Town Montgomery. We saw all the historic sites. It made history come to life to see Martin Luther King’s house and the church were he preached. We saw were Rosa Parks worked and the spot where she boarded the bus. We laughed that the site now has a big sign that designates it as a wireless hot spot! Oh there was so much to see. There were tons of war memorials, the civil rights movement site and monuments, old confederacy white house and history, and tons of stuff about Hank Williams. Brian was gaga-eyed over all the stuff about Hank Williams. We took a cute trolley ride around and were able to see everything! Definitely won’t forget this trip. Here’s to our crazy, busy, and very fun adventure!

I was thinking the same thing – why are you hiding behind the camera?! Looks like you all had a great time, and I’m glad you have your boy back now to take care of you! 🙂

I was wondering why you hadn’t posted anything recently. Sounds like you need a vacation from your vacation.
