I can’t believe our little Kennedy is three! She has been such a joy to have in our little family. Brian and I just can’t hardly remember what life was like without her. I remember very vividly the whole miracle of her birth. (maybe this is why we still only have one 😉 J/K) I feel very blessed to be her mommy. I loved her the minute I saw her, and I love her even more now! It’s amazing to see how she has grown! Kennedy wanted a carousel cake, and that’s what she got! I had such a fun time decorating it. Things worked out just as I planned. Some of you may remember the cake mishap last year. Kennedy saw and said, “Mommy, it’s perfect. Thank you so much!” She was so sweet and sincere. That moment made it worth all the work. We had a special birthday breakfast and Kennedy practiced blowing out a candle. Then we let her open a few presents. She was speechless when she opened her pram stroller for her bitty baby. She has been asking for one for SO long. Every time Daddy or Grandpa go to work she says, “You going to work so you can buy me a pram stroller for my baby?” She also was thrilled to get a diaper bag and shoes for her doll also. She seriously thought it was so wrong not to have all the things she needed to take proper care of her baby. She loves her dolly! We invited family to share in cake and ice cream and to open presents. Kennedy was so sweet and let her cousins Maylie and Brianna help her open her presents. She got lots of neat things. The girls had a great time playing with all the new toys. Thank you everyone for helping us celebrate. We appreciate your love and friendship. Kennedy was exhausted, but thrilled at the end of the night!
We also said good-bye to Daddy today. He is headed to Alabama for his commissioned officer training. It was tough to see him go and we hope the 5 weeks goes quickly. We know he will be fine and do great. He always does! Daddy we love you!!
